Thank you for deciding to pay me a visit at my permanent online home, Norma's World. For those who have followed me throughout the years, you're aware of the various websites and platforms which I've hosted, or been a part.
Norma's World is the place where I will bring everything together. Currently, it largely features books and book reviews I've published. Why? I had to pull all of my content from my two most recent sites: Norma's Books and Budden Book Reviews.
Click on each tab of the Book Reviews section to see a summary of the books reviewed in each category, along with the book covers which will take you to the corresponding review.
Please feel free to check out the Connect with Me area; it will give you a glimpse into my world of interests, plus give you an opportunity to sign up for my newsletter and find a way to contact me.
This is definitely an exciting time. My interests are so varied and continue to grow; it will be wonderful when everything comes together in one place. After all, it is a combination of these varied interests which makes up Norma's World. Other areas of the site are under development so please check back, from time to time, to see what's new. I would love to post more often but my world is a very busy place to be right now.
How do you think you might feel if you were involved in an accident which changed your life in a major way? How would you feel to have your best friend coming to visit you, seeing you in a vegetative condition, even when there's no evidence to suggest you can hear anything he says? What would life be like if you could see and hear everything going on around you, but couldn't communicate with anyone, in any way - even if you were scared?
For my second Conqueror Virtual Challenge, I decided to take a walk which would take me around the many temples and ruins of Angkor Wat. What an incredible journey into discovery it was. If you enjoy looking at architecture and have a fascination with history, this is one blog post you may want to put on your reading list. If you have actually been to the area, I would enjoy reading about your experience.
If you would like to venture into my experience of virtually walking the 154.5 km of the Chichén Itzá Conqueror Challenge, you can view it on my blog by clicking here. It was definitely an incredible journey - from the sights, smells and sounds surrounding me, to the newfound friends I've made - and my renewed hope in the promise of tomorrow.
I had the wonderful opportunity to host an interview with author Deanna Lynn Sletten. She is definitely a writer who has turned her hobby of writing into a job. I've read a few of her stories and they have a way of gripping my heart and emotions. To read our interview, please click here.
If you would like to let me know you stopped by, or would like to share your thoughts about what you see so far, please use the form below. Feel free to follow Norma's World at Facebook.
